This course is designed to provide knowledge about the Indian Data Protection law as of date.
Presently the Information Technology Act 2000 as amended in 2008 provides the data protection
provisions.

The Course objective is to provide the necessary knowledge about Global Data Protection laws
including GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, Singapore CCPA etc. This is considered essential for Data
Protection Professionals in India who are typically handling personal data processing not only
from India but from many countries in other data protection regions.

CDPP Module-A is considered as the “Lead Auditor Certification Program for PDPCSI Audits” and
for developing the skill sets for being a “Data Auditor” under DPDPB 2023.
This program covers the general Data Audit skills along with a detailed coverage of PDPCSI with
a brief coverage to audits under ISO 27001 and ISO 27701.
We hope this will provide an all round exposure to the trainees to handle both audits related to
international data protection laws as well as the Indian law.

Certification Examination for this course available to direct applicants as well as those who subscribe to this course. A separate fee is chargeable and is based on subscription status. Candidates qualifying the examinations will be issued a certification from FDPPI.
